Working Dogs Expo was a huge success Friday night
we had a special clinic for working dog owners titled (Here is
Myst with her babies Bianca with Dee, Nefertiti and Kari, (Here is
Kris Munday with her Bordeaux Best In Show winner!) Afternoon
was the K9 ProSports NW Regional Trials. (Here is Eli
and Angie Steagall, the winners of the PPD competition.) We also had
opportunities to do many demonstrations, We did a lot
of confidence building We had a
strong showing from the Fila Brasilieros, Click

and a good time was had by all!
Here's just a brief recap of the event:
"Conformation Structure & Movement"
run by Mr. Butch Cappel
Saturday we started with a conformation show
through the National Canine Association (NCA)
Our Myst won the "Best Brood Bitch" competition.

Here we saw protection dogs in both the Training
and Personal Protection Divisions competing
and working toward their titles!

K9 ProSports founder and master dogman Butch Cappel
personally administered our first regional trial.
He even put on a bite suit and decoyed!
What a treat!

answer questions, and do flirt work with a
variety of breeds from Filas to Pitbulls,
Cane Corsos, Presas and Boerboels,
Black Russian Terriers and even
an awesome Renaissance Bull Dog
by the name of Balrog!
and showed folks how to begin developing
their dogs prey drives.
Of course, Canine Good Citizen testing was available
throughout the weekend.
Here is Ellena of Pacific NW PitBull Rescue
with Petey, a very nice rescue dog.
He passed with flying colors!
Finally, we ended the weekend with the ATTS
(American Temperament Test Society).
This was a banner test for us. We had 33 dogs!
The pitbull public really came out, with 12 pits entered.
Way to put a dent in BSL, guys!
Out of 33 dogs, only 3 failed the test.
That's a success rate well above the national average!

show!
